David Chen, MD

Specializing in Oculoplastic Surgery & Neuro-Ophthalmology in Greater Boston Massachusetts

Dr. David Chen is a board certified ophthalmologist who earned his undergraduate degree at John Hopkins University and medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his fellowship program in oculoplastics and neuro-ophthalmolgy at the New England Eye Center / Tufts Medical School in Boston.

Dr. Chen has been awarded many honors and has written articles for numerous ophthalmic journals. He has participated in many research programs at various institutions, some of which include John Hopkins University, Harvard Medical School, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, and New England Eye Center.

Dr. Chen acted as premedical tutor at Winthrop House-Harvard University and participated in the Asian Health Association at Harvard Medical School, 1994-1998. In 2002, he was named Resident of the Year and Co-Chief Resident at the New England Eye Center. In 2005, he was awarded Teacher of the Year at New England Eye Center / Tufts Medical School.

Dr. Chen's expertise in his chosen fields has brought our practice to an even higher level in service and care for our patients.
