Visual Acuity Testing
Each eye is tested separately, while wearing glasses or corrective lenses, to determine the smallest letters you can read on a standard eye chart at a distance of 20 feet. You will cover one eye at a time to read, then repeat with the opposite eye. You will also be asked to read a card held approximately 14 inches away, again covering one eye at a time. This test is conducted as part of a comprehensive eye examination at all of our office locations.
